Great post. Lots of communication with only a few words and elegantly simple drawings. Glad you’re doing well.
I originally was diagnosed with Gleason 6 in 2020 at age 60. In hopes that I’d nip it in the bud I opted for low dose brachytherapy to preserve continence and sexual function. It was a great plan except I was under-diagnosed and under-treated and prostate cancer came raging back in December 2023. Gleason 9 with lymph node involvement. Since then I’ve had salvage prostatectomy, salvage radiation, and just finished 12 months of androgen deprivation therapy. I’ve also gone for pelvic floor therapy and penile rehabilitation. Who knew that “dicks” needed rehab.
Prostate cancer is more of a trip than a journey and I always recommend that men get their PSA tested annually regardless what some called experts think.
Brilliantly illustrated Anthony! I have the same 'C' loyalty card (https://prostatecancer.substack.com) and can share stories of a very similar nature! 😆 FU cancer!
Thanks, Anthony. Pls consider subscribing to Carer Mentor, I'm putting some articles together & connecting publications for World Cancer Day Feb 4th. Thanks!
I'm sorry this happened to you (I had cancer too) but I'm glad you wrote and drew this story. It's very funny!
Thank you for your kind words. I forgot to say that your NM HWY 61 photo is beautiful

Mighty honored by the kudos, brother! I'm digging your stuff as well.
Demystifying the cancer journey, one cartoon at a time. VERY cool, Anthony. If it's okay with you I'd like to share this with others.
Thanks for your kind words, Victoria. OK by me to share, and thanks. You've given me the push to get off my hinder and write the next installment...

Just don’t license “fun time with my wife”
Oh, but that expression is priceless. I really would like that on a mug.
You know how much I love this. Can I license "Ha Ha U Peed" for T-shirts and coffee mugs?
Proceeds to support independent filmmaking or endometriosis research?
An independent film about a lonely endometriosis researcher who falls in love with her data. The data are emotionally-unavailable and reckless.
Seriously, it's the most under-researched disease I've ever heard of. It would be poetic to have it supported by prostate merch.
And "prostate merch" is a great word combo.
Poetic, indeed.
